I can’t begin to tell you the number of times people stared at my belly or made inappropriate comments about women, children or Ukraine… somewhere in the midst of it all I became an Aussie (an event that would mean the world to me in other circumstances) and welcomed our baby girl to the world. Month after month I worked really hard building up the business, attending conferences, raising funds and supporting my country with whatever means I had. I had a feeling that the world has gone mad. What a “great” start! For the first 4 months of the year I struggled to get up, fought nausea related to pregnancy and the crimes Russians were committing to my people. Two weeks later Russia has invaded my country and made my family refugees. Two days after I resigned I found out that I was pregnant. David and I have been working on it for over a year, so it seemed like the perfect time. In January I decided to quit a job and move to Curium full time.
